The Assistant Director of Esports will be responsible in aiding in the long-term progression and daily operations of all CLG teams. This position requires leadership and management of personnel. Its primary focus will initially be on development of the coaching staff for all of CLG's professional esports teams. It will also have opportunities to work with leadership at CLG to influence the strategic direction of the organization.
Assist Director of Esports in establishing and implementing current and long-range objectives, plans and policies, capital plans, operational plans and personnel decisions; assist Director of Esports in competitive aspects of the organization
Oversees and coordinates the activities and plans of coaching staff
Responsible for the growth and development of the coaching staff through understanding and implementing best practice coaching philosophies and tactics
Act as liaison between Counter Logic Gaming and game publishers to drive competitive growth and planning
Monitor and analyze player performance; make recommendations and changes to improve player and team performance
Serve as liaison between Director of Esports/management and player/coach personnel
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Exceptional knowledge and background in esports titles and player and coaching personnel
2+ years working in esports or at professional/collegiate (NCAA NAIA preferred) level
Professional experience in an operational or analytical setting, ideally overseeing operational or analytical duties for 3 or more years
Experience working in a fast-paced, high stress work environment; ability to quickly communicate, process, and execute solutions for team and player operations
Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects on time and within budget
