Team Operations Student Associate

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Counter Logic Gaming Team Operations Student Associate, you will assist the coaching and performance staff in player management and logistics.

RESPONSIBILITES: 

  • Assist in managing organization-wide initiatives by collaborating with and communicating with cross functional teams. 

  • Create and actively maintain administrative processes and compliance standards.

  • Facilitate travel for all of our teams for tournaments, bootcamps, marketing and partnership events. 

  • Manage practice schedules for our teams including booking practice partners and collaborating with team managers.

  • Register our teams for tournaments and events and plan logistics for our players attending.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of esports and gaming culture 

  • Highly organized and excellent project management skills

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work with teams and individually 

  • Ability to multitask and able to react quickly to unpredictable situations 

STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS: 

  • Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above  

  • GPA of 3.2 or above 

  • Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment  

AVAILABILITY:

  • Must be available to work 35 hours a week (Monday – Friday). Must be available from end of May 2023-August 2023

Being able to work with players in-person was so humbling for me and made me realize the time and effort esports players put in. In addition, being able to witness them compete at a high level was so interesting to me and I was so glad I was able to help them succeed and also build a relationship with all of the players and coaches in a short amount of time.
